The Ohio State University is seeking an Early Childhood Senior Educator at the Schoenbaum Family Center in Columbus. The role leads classroom operations, plans weekly curriculum, daily lessons and educational programming in alignment with school philosophy, and conducts child and program assessments within deadlines.

The successful candidate will model evidence-based practices, coordinate schedules, supervise co-teachers and student interns, and participate in department and community

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in education with a focus on early and middle childhood.
• Master's degree preferred or in progress.
• Must complete infant/child CPR and first aid; background checks may apply.
• Experience supervising staff and students is desirable.

Mansioni

• Model and coach others on evidence-based practices in the model demonstration school.
• Coordinate weekly curriculum, daily lessons, and educational programming.
• Provide on-site coaching and mentoring to university graduate/undergraduate students.
• Maintain documentation and assessments; participate in meetings and committees.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and CACFP requirements.
