Senior E&S General Liability Claims Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Liability Claims Manager to join our client's claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving complex premise liability claims across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a commitment to superior customer service, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve moderate to complex general liability claims, focusing on premises liability.
• Analyze coverage and liability, determine compensability, and assess damages.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review medical records, incident reports, contracts, and other evidence to support claim decisions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of claim activity and adopt a proactive file strategy.
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and provide litigation management as needed.
• Stay current with jurisdictional laws and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of general liability claims experience, with a focus on premises liability.
• Experience handling claims involving bodily injury, property damage, and legal liability issues.
• Multi-jurisdictional claims handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong investigative and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with claims systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Insurance designations such as AIC or CPCU are a plus.
