Job summary

Alabama Power is seeking an E&I Maintenance Planner for Plant Miller to develop detailed work plans, schedule activities, and coordinate daily, FOMO and Planned Outage work for the E&I maintenance crew. The role emphasizes planning, estimating and coordinating maintenance on plant equipment, with backup duties for the Daily Planning team.

Candidates should have extensive generation plant experience and strong MAXIMO/Office skills, and be prepared for rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Generation Plant experience preferred, minimum 5 years required.
• 5 years in Power Generation Maintenance required, with 2 years supporting E&I preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MAXIMO (including CiM Visual Planner), Microsoft Office/365, and Enterprise Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead expedited solutions to Safety/Compliance or Asset Risk issues.
• Review Condition Reports and determine resolution, responsible teams, and priority.
• Identify, plan, and schedule daily, FOMO, and Planned Outage work with complete work packages.
• Maintain internal shop schedules as part of the 4-week plan and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide continuous support to teams with a customer service mindset.
• Collaborate with System Owners and Outage Planning for reciprocal support.
• Lead Maintenance/Operations meetings and participate in live/MS Teams sessions.
• Support Maintenance Strategy changes for PMs and PMCRs.
• Participate in rotating on-call duty.
