Job summary

A top-tier global chemical manufacturer is seeking an experienced E&I Engineer for its Cleveland-area facility. The role focuses on maintaining electrical distribution equipment and instrumentation to ensure safety and reliability. Key responsibilities include assisting maintenance teams, leading incident investigations, and developing maintenance procedures. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in E&I engineering, ideally with chemical or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience coordinating with outside vendors for electrical studies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site E&I maintenance team as an engineering resource.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Develop maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Investigate instrument failures and recommend solutions.
• Work with operations and engineering for reliability improvements.

Skills

Troubleshooting motor controls through 4160 volts

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA 70B, and NFPA 70E

Working knowledge of power system analysis

Education

Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
