Job summary

Salmon & Associates in the Pittsburgh area is seeking a Senior E/I Designer to support a client facility on a full-time, onsite basis. The role focuses on electrical/instrumentation/control system design and drafting for capital projects.

You will generate accurate AutoCAD packages, collaborate with engineers and plant staff, and participate in field verifications and project development. A AS in Drafting and 10–15 years of relevant experience are preferred; TWIC card and US work authorization

Qualifications

• AS in Drafting from an ABET-accredited program preferred.
• 10–15 years in plant facilities and/or consulting engineering.
• Ability to perform field trips and participate in project meetings.
• TWIC card and U.S. work authorization required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide design/drafting on electrical/instrumentation/control systems for plant capital projects.
• Prepare accurate design packages using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to align with project scope.
• Work onsite at client facility in Pittsburgh area.
• Support project development from concept through issue.
