Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all E&I construction activities for Nexus projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

You will lead diverse E&I teams, review drawings, manage subcontractors, control budgets, and report progress to project management while maintaining strict compliance with codes and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent extensive experience in Electrical/Instrumentation/Construction Management.
• 10+ years of progressive E&I construction management experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, instrumentation standards, and construction best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor E&I construction teams including superintendents, foremen, and crafts.
• Develop and enforce E&I construction plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Ensure safety regulations, policies, and environmental standards are followed on site.
• Coordinate E&I subcontractors to meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor docs for E&I systems.
• Oversee procurement, delivery, and storage of E&I materials and equipment.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to keep timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets specs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Collaborate with other discipline managers, project controls, and client representatives.
• Manage change orders and claims related to E&I scope.
• Participate in project planning, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
