Job summary

Heartland Technology Group seeks an experienced Senior ERP Consultant II to lead complex Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementations, train users, and mentor other consultants. You will work with accounting-focused processes, drive presales activity, and contribute to practice growth across Heartland’s client base.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, significant technology understanding, and a track record of delivering successful ERP projects. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in operational accounting, product distribution, and related business processes.
• 8+ years of experience providing business consulting, supporting business systems, or implementing ERP solutions.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word templates, Excel Pivot tables, SQL queries).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts and standard bookkeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Address business problems by gathering information, analyzing, prioritizing, and evaluating options, and then architecting integrated use of technologies to solve complex problems.
• Train and support users of Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions and related tools, including remote work and travel to client sites.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage implementations, and mentor other consultants to grow the ERP Practice.
• Lead presales discovery and presentations (demonstrations) and manage proposal preparation and presentation.
• Develop knowledge to identify client needs and opportunities addressed by Heartland Business Systems’ services and products.
• Mentor and train consultants on best practices, project methodology, and professional services.
