Job summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer for its Global Support Center in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on advanced DUV system diagnostics, global escalation support, and continuous improvement to reduce customer downtime.

You will diagnose complex issues, transfer knowledge across regions, and contribute to proactive diagnostics and predictive data modeling. The position requires collaboration with teams in North America and internationally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or Bachelor's with 6-8 years of experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and design documentation.
• Advanced experience with feedback control systems.
• Knowledge of optical principles and troubleshooting projection lens performance, illumination profiles, dose control, and illumination sources such as mercury arc lamps and excimer lasers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated from field teams and customer sites, focusing on DUV scanners.
• Create clear diagnostic action plans to guide field engineers to resolution.
• Build deep technical expertise in ASML DUV systems and escalation processes.
• Troubleshoot illumination, projection, and dose-control competency issues and light-source performance.
• Use MATLAB and offline tools to analyze optical path behavior and identify root causes.
