Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a Senior Data Security Practitioner to lead Phase 1 of an enterprise DSPM platform selection for a top financial institution. You will socialize requirements across New York, Glasgow, and Budapest, run the RFP, and guide the scoring process to 3–4 finalist platforms for lab validation.

The role requires deep data security expertise, executive-level communication, and the ability to operate within a structured evaluation framework on a tight 12-week timeline.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise data security experience across full lifecycle.
• Hands-on DSPM, DLP, and Data Access Governance knowledge in large organizations.
• Strong cryptography and key management understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholderManagement across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase 1 evaluation for the DSPM platform selection with 3 global locations.
• Refine and socialise 300+ data security requirements with business and technical teams.
• Manage RFP issuance, vendor Q&A, and bid responses with transparent governance.
• Grade vendor submissions, produce summaries, and document rationale per criteria.
• Present down-select recommendations to senior stakeholders and enable Phase 2 handoff.
