The role emphasizes debugging, validation, and release readiness for complex embedded systems powering AI, camera, audio, and other advanced use cases, with AI-driven workflows and cross-functional collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of software/electrical engineering work.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of work experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Responsibilities

• Drive integration, validation, and commercialization of embedded DSP and NPU software solutions across Qualcomm platforms.
• Debug complex software and system issues in real-time embedded environments using debuggers, logs, traces, and crash analysis.
• Develop and improve continuous integration, automated testing, and software release processes.
• Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to enhance build, release, triage, and validation workflows.
• Manage software configuration and source control processes using GitHub and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, systems, tools, and architecture groups.
