Job summary

Vadum, Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to design, develop, and optimize DSP algorithms and systems for national defense applications in Raleigh, NC.

You will lead technical efforts across the full product life cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and compliant solutions. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong C/C++ and MATLAB skills, and is capable of obtaining an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages (C and C++).
• Fluency in MATLAB software.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze systems for information extraction from signal sensors and lead tasks.
• Analyze hardware requirements and optimize algorithms and designs for digital processes.
• Provide technical support to tests and prepare reports for board design.
• Communicate results via briefings and written materials to team, customer and management.
• Plan and perform analytical research, design development, testing and other technical assignments.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams.
