Job summary

Parsons seeks a Sr. Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join the Federal Solutions team at its Herndon/Chantilly locations in VA. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining complex DSP systems for defense and security applications.

You will implement DSP algorithms in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and drive simulations, testing, and deployment efforts. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 8+ years of experience in software implementation of DSP/signal processing algorithms.
• Experience with Linux, Git, and programming languages such as C/C++, Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize DSP algorithms for designated applications.
• Implement DSP algorithms in software and/or hardware using C, C++, MATLAB, Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DSP solutions into larger systems.
• Conduct simulations, testing, and debugging to validate functionality and performance.
• Stay updated on DSP tech and apply innovative techniques to new challenges.
• Troubleshoot issues related to signal processing, hardware/software integration, and system performance.
• Support product lifecycle from prototyping to deployment of DSP-based systems.
