Job summary

Lilly in Houston is seeking an Analytical Molecule Steward to build DS analytical capability in a startup phase, including transfer, method implementation, and control strategy definition for oligonucleotide and small molecule analytics.

This senior leader will own analytical strategy, drive technology transfer across sites, mentor analysts, and ensure readiness for regulatory submissions and process validation timelines.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years in analytical sciences within pharmaceutical manufacturing (methods development, validation, lifecycle).
• Experience with tech transfer, equipment qualification, and regulatory submissions/audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead DS analytical method transfer and startup at Houston; define transfer and knowledge strategies.
• Own analytical control strategy for molecules across manufacturing steps.
• Collaborate with TS/MS, Engineering, and site leadership on readiness and validation timelines.
• Author and maintain regulatory content, method packages, and submissions.
• Oversee reference standards, re-evaluation, and testing programs.
