Job summary

Acousti Engineering Company of Florida is seeking a Drywall Framer Foreman in Jacksonville, FL. You will oversee site-based drywall framing operations on commercial and government projects, ensuring safety, deadlines, and quality standards are met as part of a dynamic team.

The role requires excellent leadership, problem solving, and blueprint reading, with the ability to manage multiple crews and communicate effectively with customers and subcontractors. Travel may be needed to support projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Foreman in commercial drywall framing and familiarity with materials, methods, tools, and blueprints
• Expertise in metal framing, drywall, FRP, finishing, and acoustic ceilings
• Strong leadership, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects independently
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand or walk up to 8 hours daily

Responsibilities

• Promote job site safety, rectify hazards, and encourage safe work practices
• Direct production activities and maintain construction schedule
• Supervise employees and subcontractors, maintaining positive relations with customers, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure timely submission of all job reports and photographic records of work
• Review and understand project floor plans and construction drawings
• Work on scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, and with powder actuated tools and lasers
• Operate indoors and outdoors, maintaining schedules and phasing
• Perform additional duties as assigned
