Job summary

LEMOINE is seeking a Drywall Estimator for our Drywall Sector in Lafayette, LA. The role covers quantity takeoffs, pricing, and final estimates for projects up to $5 million, supporting preconstruction and bid management.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or equivalent experience, 5+ years in commercial construction with drywall focus, and strong math, budgeting, and communication abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in commercial construction with 3+ years in drywall project management.
Strong knowledge of interior finish systems and estimating processes.
Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with estimating and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

Reviews all plans and specifications (Schematic to Construction Documents).
Reviews specifications to clarify scope and prepares RFIs as needed.
Performs quantity take-offs for drywall, framing, insulation, ceilings, etc.
Understands and estimates Cold-Formed Metal Framing system with Designer support.
Completes Subtab sheets to clarify scope and maintain records.
Maintains positive relationships with trade partners.
Provides estimate detail for bid management and sector leadership review.
