Job summary

Wolfspeed is looking for a Sr Staff Process Engineer to lead the Dry Etch process design and sustainment in our Marcy, New York facility. You will work in a high volume semiconductor environment, focusing on process performance and quality improvements.

The ideal candidate has a BS, MS, or PhD in relevant fields and 10+ years of experience in semiconductor environments, with specific knowledge in dielectric and metal etch.

This position offers a competitive compensation range from $123,000 to $169,000 based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a semiconductor environment, specifically within dielectric etch and/or metal etch.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment in Fabrication.
• Proficient in technical writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain the Dry Etch process design and manufacturing processes.
• Perform process and capability studies to monitor and control key parameters.
• Conduct root cause analysis of process discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
