Job summary

One Federal Solution is seeking an Applications Software Developer/Engineer to deliver Drupal-based web applications and O&M support for NAL core systems. You will design USWDS-compliant themes, migrate code to current Drupal versions, and integrate MFA while collaborating with government stakeholders.

You will manage GitHub CI/CD, apply security patches, and develop modules in a Linux/Docker environment to ensure secure, scalable deployments across federal platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• 6+ years with Drupal (LAMP) in enterprise apps.
• 2–3 years Python programming.
• 2–3 years designing USWDS-compliant Drupal themes.
• Experience migrating custom code to latest Drupal versions.
• GitHub CI/CD and Docker experience.
• Familiarity with NIST/FedRAMP security standards.
• MySQL and PostgreSQL database experience.
• Strong Linux command line proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide web app development and O&M support using Drupal for NAL core apps.
• Design Drupal themes per USWDS guidelines.
• Migrate and adjust custom Drupal code for newer versions.
• Integrate MFA with Drupal sites and applications.
• Manage GitHub CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Apply security patches and remediate advisories.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Drupal apps and modules.
• Site-build with contributed modules and custom modules.
• Support deployments, updates, troubleshooting, and releases.
• Collaborate with analysts and coordinators on migration paths.
• Use Docker for development and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, accessibility, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical docs on development and config.
• Provide cross-functional technical support for secure web apps.
