Job description

We're on the lookout for a Senior Drupal Developer to join our established team at Torpedo.

What it takes to be successful:

• Advanced knowledge of Drupal 8, 9 & 10.
• Advanced knowledge of PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony.
• Experience migrating sites from Drupal 7 / WordPress to Drupal 9+.
• Experience working with Node.js/Express.
• Skilled in Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
• Proficient in Linux administration, Apache configuration, and MySQL database design.
• Experience using version control systems—ideally Git.
• Good working knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI best practices.
• A good understanding of accessibility standards.
• An organized approach with excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines while providing clients and colleagues with exceptional service.

What skills are not essential but will help:

• Experience with automated testing (e.g., PHPUnit, Behat, Selenium) and automated deployment and continuous integration tools like Travis or Jenkins.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and procedures.
• Experience and/or knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with WordPress architecture.
