Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a technically focused Drone Pilot to safely operate commercial UAVs across construction and industrial sites in the United States. You will plan flights, capture data for BIM and GIS workflows, and ensure quality and traceability of deliverables. Hybrid work options are available, with competitive compensation.

The role requires a valid FAA Part 107 certificate, 3+ years of drone ops, and strong coordination with project teams to meet schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• 3+ years of experience operating commercial drones in construction/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct commercial drone flights per FAA regs and site safety.
• Maintain pilot credentials, aircraft registrations, and flight logs.
• Capture high-quality aerial data for BIM, CAD, and GIS workflows.
• Support site safety, quality checks, and data delivery.
• Collaborate with design teams for model comparisons and deliverables.
