Job summary

Amazon Prime Air seeks an experienced Sr. Repair Technician who maintains drones at the commercial operation site, ensuring airworthiness and safe operation.

You will collaborate with engineering, flight operations, and Prime Air teams to deliver on your responsibilities and mentor the repair team. Responsibilities include driving time-based and condition-based maintenance, managing spare parts, and training technicians.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (Microsoft Office).
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Own fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
