E Ink Corporation seeks an experienced and highly innovative scientist to advance next-generation driving technologies for electrophoretic displays. You will invent and optimize driving algorithms to improve optical performance, switching speed, power consumption, and reliability, combining physics with experiments and software development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years industry experience (M.S. with 5+ years considered).
• Strong hands-on experimental skills in lab-based research and product development.
• Experience designing controlled experiments and performing data analysis to draw conclusions.
• Expertise in optimization, hardware/electronics, ML, computational physics, signals/systems, optics, or control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of electro-optical physics and translate into driving algorithms.
• Design, execute, and analyze controlled experiments to characterize performance.
• Develop optical test methods and models to explain behavior and predict performance.
• Create driving algorithms and software to optimize optical performance and reliability.
• Investigate complex product and manufacturing issues using root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition research into production.
