Job summary

E Ink Corporation is seeking a curious engineer to develop driving methods for large color e-Paper signage displays. You will design electro‑optical experiments, analyze display systems, and optimize color performance within a lean team focused on product improvements.

You will contribute to waveform optimization, software tools, and data analysis, while supporting color and reliability enhancements. A strong background in Python and deep learning is required, with hands‑on hardware experience

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Engineering, Physics, Applied Math, Signal Processing, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong hands-on aptitude with laboratory-based research and hardware optimization.
• Experience designing controlled experiments and data analysis to draw technical conclusions.
• Programming experience with Python preferred.
• Experience with deep learning workflows.
• Experience developing software tools and data analysis workflows.
• Familiarity with cameras, optical systems, and lab equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of color display technology via hands-on work with test systems.
• Define performance metrics and design, run, and analyze controlled experiments.
• Develop software tools and algorithms for waveform optimization and display performance.
• Support color and optical performance improvements and reliability.
• Document methods and present findings to technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to tuning processes for large panels and next-gen platforms.
