EXL is seeking a DRG Quality Analyst for a remote office role. You will oversee clinical DRG audits and apply clinical judgment to ensure inpatient DRG coding accuracy, while mentoring auditors to sustain high quality outcomes.

You will review audits, conduct root cause analyses, and collaborate with management to drive improvements. The posted base salary range is $85k-$110k, with benefits information available on our site.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with clinical validation audits.
• Active Coding Certification: CIC, CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA.

Responsabilidades

• Apply clinical judgment for DRG audits to ensure accuracy of inpatient DRG coding.
• Review the accuracy and consistency of clinical DRG auditing auditors to ensure audits are appropriately marked for findings and no findings.
• Mentor Clinical DRG auditors.
• Recommend process changes to improve quality and performance.
• Communicate with peers and management.
• Provide root cause analysis on errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Conduct all job functions in accordance with Compliance and Regulatory policies.
