Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA seeks a firmware/product engineer to prepare for new DRAM products, coordinate resources, testing and analysis across the product lifecycle.

You will run simulations, create and maintain design documentation, analyze parametric data, respond to failures, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics or a related field required.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for new DRAM products and coordinate resources, testing, and analysis over the lifecycle of the product.
• Run simulations, create and maintain design documentation, analyze parametric data and respond to failures.
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing groups to troubleshoot, develop and validate device testing programs, and identify lab equipment needs.
• Identify or modify tests for customer returns and programs to meet specific product requirements.
• Act as a product-specific point of contact and work with Application Engineers evaluating and providing feedback on data sheets, and with Quality Assurance to ensure product reliability.
