DRMP is seeking a Senior Roadway/Drainage Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience to support our Northwest and West Florida offices. Candidates may sit in Jacksonville, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Tampa, or Fort Myers. The role involves applying, planning, and designing roadway projects, making recommendations aligned with organizational objectives.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Providing engineering analysis and designing stormwater management solutions for transportation projects.
• Managing the design and production of construction details, plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Collaborating with clients, subconsultants, technical staff, and managers across disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budget.
• Mentoring less-experienced support staff.
• Conducting engineering investigations and planning, including data collection, analysis, routine calculations, and evaluating alternative solutions.
• Supporting business development, including proposal pursuits.
• Building relationships with clients, teaming partners, and contractors.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering Registration (PE) with the State.
• 10-15+ years of relevant transportation design experience.
• Drainage experience.
• Knowledge of DOT design standards and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills.
