DRMP is seeking a 10 to 15-year experienced Senior Roadway/Drainage Engineer to support our Northwest Florida offices. Candidates can choose to sit in Jacksonville, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Gainesville, or Fort Myers. The role involves applying, planning, and designing roadway projects, with responsibilities to make recommendations aligning with organizational goals.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
  • Providing engineering analysis and designing stormwater management solutions for transportation projects.
  • Managing the design and production of construction details, plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Collaborating with clients, subconsultants, technical staff, and managers across disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budget.
  • Mentoring less-experienced staff.
  • Conducting investigations and planning tasks, including data collection, analysis, routine calculations, and evaluating solutions.
  • Supporting business development and proposal efforts.
  • Building relationships with clients, partners, and contractors.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering Registration in the state.
  • 10-15+ years of relevant transportation design experience.
  • Drainage experience.
  • Knowledge of DOT standards and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a proactive attitude.
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and positive work ethic.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
