The position requires a Utah PE license, 10+ years of drainage design experience, and familiarity with OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, Civil-3D. Office locations include Salt Lake City and St. George, UT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of drainage design experience related to transportation infrastructure projects.
• Licensed Utah Professional Engineer.
• Local county and municipality project experience.
• Ability to lead in a collaborative team environment and foster strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage engineering teams on transportation projects including freeways, interstates, interchanges, and highways.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation infrastructure and site developments.
• Design drainage systems including storm sewers, culverts, detentions, and bridge/deck drainage.
• Coordinate and oversee the design team's work to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Prepare plans and details using OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil-3D.
• Produce and QC drainage plans, reports, quantities, and specs.
• Serve as lead drainage liaison with clients on projects.
• Manage local drainage engineering staff.
