Job summary

Ferrovial Construction - Webber 24 is seeking a Drainage Design Manager to support the I-24 Southeast Choice Lanes Project in Nashville, Tennessee. You will lead the development and delivery of hydrologic, hydraulic, and drainage designs for a major transportation infrastructure project, working within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PE license with Tennessee eligibility, and strong leadership with expertise in drainage design for complex highway projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with Tennessee registration or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation drainage design (freeways, highways, interchanges).
• Experience as Engineer of Record (EOR) and leading drainage design teams.
• Proficiency with OpenRoads, MicroStation, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, and ProjectWise.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of drainage engineering deliverables: studies, hydraulic analyses, design calculations, plans, specs, and reports.
• Manage drainage design activities: flood studies, stormwater management, and evaluation of alternatives.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, designers, and CAD staff to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with management, clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to support delivery and integration.
• Plan and monitor drainage tasks to meet schedules and contractual requirements.
• Lead drainage teams to manage flooding risk and overall drainage performance.
