Job summary

Smith-Rowe, LLC in Lexington is looking for an experienced Dozer Operator to join our Grading Department. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in highway grading and a strong knowledge of finish grading.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in roads, highways, and bridges is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post daily inspection of dozer for proper working order.
• Cut ditches, slopes, grades, and clear brush as needed.
• Work with grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade.

Skills

Strong knowledge of finish grading

GPS knowledge

Ability to operate a dozer at expert level

Must be safety oriented

Strong work ethic

Education

High school diploma/GED
