Cooper Machinery Services LLC in Deer Park, TX, seeks a Downstream Mechanic III to diagnose failures, lead overhauls on Cooper-Bessemer™, Ajax™, and Superior™ platforms, and own work from teardown to final inspection. You’ll mentor teammates and operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will use precision measurement tools, perform regulatory inspections, and contribute to safety, documentation, and upgrade projects to extend equipment life and improve performance.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Associate degree or vocational certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with ability to work independently.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in reciprocating engines and compressors.
• Overhaul compressors and support upgrade projects to extend life and performance.
• Use precision measurement tools to support inspection and diagnostics.
• Maintain and repair valves, cooling, lubrication systems, and pumps.
• Document inspections, timesheets, SAP orders, and regulatory reports.
• Provide informal leadership and coaching to teammates.
