Job summary

ABSG Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Washington, DC area to lead technical, budget, schedule, and administrative execution of projects for DOT. The role requires building client relationships, understanding client and team needs, and delivering creative solutions.

Expect 2-4 days onsite at the DOT headquarters in Washington, DC, with responsibility for financial performance on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (required).
• 10+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with clients at all levels including executives, in writing and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients at various government levels to ensure successful project delivery on multiple contracts.
• Identify requirements, coordinate resources, and communicate decisions to team and clients.
• Develop budgets and schedules and profit objectives for assigned projects with regional management approval.
• Lead negotiations on budgets, schedules, terms, and conditions for proposals.
• Staff projects by establishing staffing requirements in support of execution.
• Open and maintain project management files and initiate project setup.
