Job summary

MasterApp Labs LLC is hiring a Senior .NET Angular Developer in Lansing, MI for a hybrid contract role. You will join a team of ~10, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable web apps using Angular, .NET, and AWS services.

The role emphasizes strong communication, ownership, and ability to work independently within Agile and traditional processes. PowerApps familiarity is a plus; MS Teams interview mode may be used.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Angular Development experience.
• 6+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• 6+ years of experience with .NET technologies.
• 6+ years of experience with Cloud AWS Migration.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development.
• Excellent ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Present information gathered to Project Review Board or Sponsors, providing clarification and answers.
• Create, update, and maintain systems and IT programs documentation (specifications).
• Draft technical models that capture and design data elements to meet application needs.
• Design and develop code per approved architecture/design and security standards.
• Mitigate application-level security risks and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, structured walkthroughs and stage exits.
• Follow configuration and change management procedures as defined by the team and state standards.
• Support Agile and Traditional project management methodologies and SUITE standards.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing; develop test scripts and plans.
• Document problems and perform root-cause analysis; prepare user manuals and training.

Job Title: Senior .NET Angular Developer

Location: Lansing, MI, (Hybrid)-In-office for the 2 days per week is required (Monday/Tuesday).

Position Type: Contract

Interview Mode: MS Teams

Job Responsibilities:

• With the Business Analyst, presents the information gathered to the Project Review Board and/or Project Sponsors during project review meetings, project workgroups and to the Technical Review Board providing clarification and answers to questions
• Create, update, and maintain systems and IT programs documentation, including but not limited to system and functional specifications
• Draft technical model that captures requirements of data elements, and design data elements to best meet application needs
• Design and develop software code based on reusability, approved architecture/design, and in compliance with security (SADLC) and other applicable State of Michigan standards, policies, and procedures
• Mitigate application-level security risks, and remediate vulnerabilities as soon as identified
• Participate and provide input for structured walk throughs, code reviews, and stage exits
• Configuration management procedures to be strictly followed as defined by the development team
• Follow change management procedures as defined by State of Michigan Center for Excellence and provide input in execute change management
• Support project documentation requirements by following System Engineering - SUITE standards for Agile and Traditional methodologies as applicable
• Perform application unit, string, and integrated testing to ensure compliance with the business and technical requirements
• Develop system/ module level test scripts, test plans, and test cases required to support the execution of unit, string, and integrated system testing activities
• Document identified problems and analyze to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis reports
• Develop user Manuals and conduct training for users as necessary
• Evaluate requests for modifications and enhancements for impact on existing project and applications
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Angular Development experience
• 6+ years of experience with Azure DevOps
• 6+ years of experience with .NET technologies
• 6+ years of experience with Cloud AWS Migration
• Strong experience working within process-oriented Agile methodologies
• Proven experience with Test-Driven Development
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Extensive knowledge and experience of advanced principles, theories, techniques, and methods in the development and design of web applications and standalone applications.
• Ability to work as a team and individually on projects and tasks using Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies.
• Participate in project review meetings and project workgroups

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Playwright for integration testing

Additional Notes:

• Opportunity involves a unique environment managing a small portfolio of contracts, including transitioning agreements into formal contracts
• Work within a .NET and Angular application environment, with added exposure to multiple batch job processes

• Position requires direct interaction with client stakeholders, with an emphasis on strong communication and ownership
• Expectation for a self-sufficient resource who can operate with minimal oversight and drive tasks independently
