Senior Donor Relations Officer - Major Gifts

Boston Area - Remote

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience

Terrific new Senior Donor Relations Officer position in the Boston area. This new position will manage the full fundraising lifecycle for a portfolio of major gifts prospects and donors. The role will focus on securing gifts of $5,000+ within the east coast region.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of donors and prospects capable of giving major gifts of $5,000+ on the east coast
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors
  • Foster strong relationships with donors and supporters
  • Develop and execute multi year fundraising strategies for the region
  • Maintain donor records in Salesforce
  • Attend organization events, as needed
  • Travel to meet with donors and prospects, as needed
Qualifications
  • Approximately 3 - 5+ years of major gifts fundraising experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of securing major gifts
  • Ability to connect with donors while conveying the organization's mission and work
  • Self starter and capable of working autonomously
  • Driver's License required
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed, most travel will be local in the Boston area
