A TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required, with up to 20% travel. Strong collaboration with O&S and other DoD entities is expected. The position requires a BS/BA in IT or related field with 10+ years of engineering experience, and offers a full-time, on-site

Qualifications

BS/BA in IT or related field required with 10+ years IT engineering experience.
Strong system-architecture, cybersecurity, and DoD-standard compliance knowledge.
Ability to document architectures and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering and architecture support for AFNWC.
Provide comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services.
Interface with O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as directed.
Review existing architecture on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required.
Responsible for planning, solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application layer.
