Job summary

Apolis in Reston, VA is seeking a senior systems engineer to architect complex DoD/IC solutions. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with strong MBSE, DoDAF, and domain experience in space, air, or intelligence systems.

You will model architectures, draft artifacts and interface docs, and collaborate with a small engineering team on a larger program, ensuring lifecycle coverage from requirements to sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related technical discipline; additional applicable experience may be considered.
• Approximately 10+ years of systems engineering, system architecture, enterprise architecture, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems within DoD/IC domains using MBSE approaches.
• Collect, interpret, and document information from architecture models.
• Draft architecture artifacts, documentation, interfaces, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team and across multidisciplinary programs.
