Job summary

KBR is seeking a Systems Administrator to support TRMC and JMETC/SDREN/DREN environments in a high-security setting. Responsibilities include administering Windows/Linux/VMware stacks, ensuring patching and backups, and maintaining RMF compliance while collaborating with distributed teams.

The role requires active TS clearance, a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent, and willingness to travel up to 20%. On-site work in Maryland/VA/MD region is expected.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE Top Secret clearance is required.
• 10+ years of Systems Administrator experience.
• Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and willing to travel up to 20%.
• Strong virtualization experience (VMware, VxRail, vSphere).
• Proficient Windows and Linux administration; scripting and Ansible preferred.
• Ability to document SOPs and maintain RMF/security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer servers, network gear, storage, and virtualization infra.
• Install, upgrade, configure Windows/Linux/VMware/SQL Server environments.
• Maintain security controls, patching, STIGs, backups.
• Manage HBSS, ACAS, databases, and logging/monitoring suites.
• Ensure compliance with TRMC directives and RMF requirements.
• Document SOPs and share knowledge with teammates.
