Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Senior Solutions Architect in Mechanicsburg, PA, to design and deploy a real-time asset tracking platform for the DoD. You will integrate RFID/Iot hardware, cloud platforms, and secure engineering practices to support warfighter missions.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong cloud skills (AWS/Azure), and expert communication across diverse teams and agencies. The candidate will lead technical direction and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/CE or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering or solutions architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• DoD RMF and cybersecurity best practices knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizen with DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for deploying a cutting-edge asset tracking solution to the U.S. Navy.
• Engage with DoD stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead communication of technical delivery information to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Oversee RMF/ATO compliance activities including POAMs and coordination with ISSMs/ISSOs.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure conformance to contract requirements and customer needs.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with senior leaders to achieve objectives.
