Job summary

MOHR Talent in Caledonia, MS is seeking a Program Manager to lead large-scale DoD contracts, delivering programs from start to finish. In-Person, with a focus on cross-functional leadership, budget stewardship, risk mitigation, and ITAR/CMMC compliance for a growing defense portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of DoD program mgmt experience, PMP/PgMP certification, and strong MS Project skills, with Navy background considered a plus. U.S. Person status required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required.
• 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager in a DoD environment managing large scale projects ($100M+)
• Navy program background is a big plus.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined under 22 U.S.C. 6010

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage execution of large, complex DoD programs from start to finish
• Serve as a key point of contact for senior military leaders, government representatives, and industry partners
• Lead cross-functional project teams and keep everyone aligned on tasks and deliverables
• Own program budgets, monitor costs, and ensure efficient use of resources
• Identify risks early and build mitigation plans to keep programs on track
• Manage scope, schedule, and resource changes with proper documentation and approvals
• Support compliance with ITAR and CMMC requirements
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles
