HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Military Planner to direct DoD planning and asset management projects worldwide. The role requires US passport eligibility and overseas travel, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder coordination, logistics, and comprehensive documentation.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, develop capital and installation plans, and produce economic analyses while aligning with DoD planning criteria. HDR emphasizes employee ownership and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years in environmental consulting with marketing, land development project management, staff management and client satisfaction; an advanced degree may offset years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary team to complete DoD planning studies and related documentation.
• Conduct facility and infrastructure requirements analyses and capacity assessments.
• Develop project execution plans including storyboarding and product expectations.
• Facilitate Installation Visioning, Planning, and Programming Charrettes.
• Coordinate information exchange between stakeholders via written, graphic, and verbal communication.
• Build consensus for planning proposals among stakeholders with opposing views.
• Develop Installation, Area, and Component plans and planning criteria.
• Prepare DD Forms 1391 and economic analyses.
