Job summary

PMAT, Inc. seeks an experienced Database Administrator IV to support the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) with design, development, and sustainment of secure enterprise databases.

You will collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity, and Navy stakeholders to ensure NIODB is secure, reliable, and scalable for legacy and emerging Information Warfare needs. Qualifications

• Minimum five years building relational database systems, preferably Oracle Enterprise DB.
• Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and MS T-SQL.
• Designing software and DBs for NIODB development and maintenance.
• Experience with XML data ingestion and Oracle backend databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and sustain NIODB relational architectures.
• Support data architecture for legacy and evolving Information Warfare systems.
• Develop and maintain Oracle databases using SQL/PLSQL.
• Convert legacy formats to CSV, XML, and JSON for modernization.
• Document security, baselines, and configuration management for databases.
• Support NIODB workflows and QA solutions for data management.
• Collaborate with network, system admin, and security teams to set environment requirements.
• Coordinate with national/service orgs to adapt NIODB formats into the authoritative DB.
• Support disaster recovery and alternate NIODB site readiness.
• Test, verify, and validate database applications and releases.
