Job summary

IDS International seeks a Senior Network Engineer III to lead enterprise network design, implementation, and support for cyber range environments within a DoD context. The role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs across distributed test ranges.

The ideal candidate will guide wireless integration and policy development, ensuring high availability and secure DoD network operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in cyber range or DoD testbed environments
• DoD 8140.03 IAT II requirements or equivalent certifications
• Active Top Secret (TS) / SCI clearance preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network architectures for cyber range operations
• Manage routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs
• Support distributed test range environments with policy/procedure development
• Engineer and maintain network infrastructure across bare metal and virtualized systems
• Provide DoD network node support including JIOR environments
• Develop and implement network policies, standards, and best practices
• Support wireless network infrastructure (Wi‑Fi, cellular) and ensure high availability
• Troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure performance and reliability
