Job summary

IMC (Innovative Management Concepts, Inc) seeks a senior network architect to design and maintain an integrated enterprise network across multiple theaters, including Hawaii and Pacific locations. The role requires CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Security, and extensive DoD experience. You will own the technical baseline, lead senior engineers, and translate needs into actionable architectures.

Onsite in Honolulu, HI, Monday–Friday with long hours as needed. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Security at start date.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible network engineering experience, incl. 7+ years in senior roles in DoD or national-security environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Demonstrated design experience with large DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR, JWICS, MPE/CENTRIX, CSfC, Type 1 encryption, CDS).
• Ability to lead engineers, enforce standards, and communicate risk to senior leaders.
• Working knowledge of DoD architecture, RMF, Zero Trust, STIGs, vulnerability management, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the integrated enterprise network architecture across Hawaii, Pacific, Alaska, Japan/Okinawa, and CONUS locations.
• Translate operational needs into enterprise architectures and ensure traceability.
• Own the network baseline including routing, switching, QoS, firewalls, encryption, WAN and SDN design.
• Develop and approve network designs, IP/routing plans, BOMs, configurations, and as-built packages.
• Lead Tier 3/4 routing and security-related issues and mentor junior engineers.
• Review engineering work for accuracy, interoperability, cybersecurity impact, and sustainment.
