Job summary

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to support AFCEC in MILCON and Facility Sustainment Restoration and Modernization programs. You will provide technical reviews and advisory services for Air Force design and construction across the enterprise, coordinating with DA/CA workflows.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and have 10+ years DoD/AF experience, with strong DoD policy knowledge and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or closely related field required.
• At least 10 years in the last 20 with Air Force or DoD facilities/construction project management.
• Knowledge of DoD design/construction policies and standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects.
• Prepare and review statements of work, cost estimates, submittals, and RFIs.
• Participate in design, contract acquisition, construction meetings, and inspections.
• Support MILCON and FSRM program workload for project management.
• Travel as needed (CONUS/OCONUS).
