Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a senior IT systems architect to lead SAFe-based solutions for MCEN-related environments, supporting U.S. Marine Corps cyber and network programs.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise IT architecture and deep DoD experience, with emphasis on secure, high-cadence System-of-Systems design and cross-team collaboration. Up to 15% travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAFe and MCEN experience required.
• IAT Level III or higher cybersecurity compliance.
• 10+ years in IT systems architecture and integration, with DoD exposure.

Responsibilities

• Document and validate solution intent across architectures.
• Ensure traceability between capabilities, enablers, and MCEN requirements.
• Provide technical oversight for solution architectures across portfolios.
• Collaborate with product management, RTEs, and engineers to align solutions with MCEN goals.
• Backlog structuring and roadmapping for PI events and solution trains.
• Coordinate architecture work and data prep day-to-day.
• Translate architectural intent into backlog items and runways.
• Support dependency mapping and capability decomposition.
