Job summary

Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring a Logistics Specialist III to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC. The role focuses on procurement handling, inventory accountability, and worldwide asset movement for DoD/OGA assets.

You will track purchase requests, manage asset inventories, and coordinate movements of equipment for national test facilities. A minimum of an Associate degree in Business and seven years of logistics experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional relationships with government and Prime Contractor staff.
• Proven ability to directly support overseas logistic positions.
• For PSP: S-ILMS and ILMS familiarity; coordinate classified shipments.
• For DEAV: ability to obtain Hazmat certification per DoD/DOT requirements.
• Follow laws/regulations for transporting Government owned weapons and ammunition.
• For ST: coordinate training for overseas Field Service Representatives and Logisticians on CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on SOPs, contract file documents, memorandums, and weekly logistics reports for procurement handling and inventory accountability of DoD/OGA assets.
• Track all Purchase Requests and Contracts submitted.
• Manage annual, quarterly, and monthly inventory, equipment, and controlled assets and the movement of armored equipment for use at national test facilities.
