Job summary

SITEC Consulting seeks an experienced Business Financial Professional - Level 2 to support DoD/IC programs in a mission-focused environment in Laurel, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI with poly at time of application and strong Excel/PowerPoint proficiency to manage budgets and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include processing MIPRs/EAOs, maintaining spend plans, and delivering financial data for reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a business focus.
8+ years of DoD or IC purchasing or financial experience; or 10+ years combined DoD/IC and commercial experience.
Experience preparing reports reflecting program or project cost, schedule, and performance.
Experience with budget planning, preparation, and execution for acquisition programs.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formulas and pivot tables.
PowerPoint proficiency, including importing and presenting Excel data.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Validate and complete Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).
Support Government Business and Contract Management Offices with end-of-year activities and data calls.
Enter and modify requisitions in NSA financial management systems with required information.
Prepare MIPRs, EAOs, and associated requisitions.
Process incoming MIPRs and EAOs using established procedures.
Create and maintain spend plans documenting Government requirements.
Track requisitions through approval, certification, contracting, and receiving processes.
Retrieve and analyze financial information using NSA systems.
Apply NSA acquisition and financial management policies and tools.
Monitor financial code usage against budgets.
Support responses to internal and external financial data inquiries.
Coordinate and finalize basis-of-estimate data, including year updates.
Prepare financial status reports for Government programs.
Recommend funding sources and identify variances.
Develop briefing materials for financial reviews.
Support program estimates and planning activities.
Assist with budget and financial planning for organizations, programs, and cost centers.
Identify potential budget, expenditure, cost, and schedule variances.
