Agile Defense, Inc.—a DoD-focused defense contractor—seeks a Sr. HW/SW Installation Technician to support the Navy’s MSC ITESS deployments in Norfolk, VA.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and system migration across facilities and ships. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience and security certifications (Security+, CCNA, CSA+, GSEC+ or SSCP).

Qualifications

• Typically has completed high school and 5 or more years of experience.
• Active DoD -Secret clearance or equivalent security credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver Installation Design Plan (IDP) and As-Built Drawing packages per MSC and ABS standards.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, fault isolation and fault remediation to assist installation teams.
• Support facility and system installations, modifications, and changes.
• Support physical and/or logical installation of systems and components, activation and migration of components.
• Support de-installation, deactivation and technology upgrades/refreshes.
• Review and follow all Pre-Installation Test and Check-Out Procedures.
• Provide Pre-Installation Test and Check-Out (PITCO) Procedures for systems under engineering activities.
• Provide detailed Rollback Plans for LRIP system baselines if installation is not feasible.
