Job summary

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) within Cherokee Federal seeks a Technical Analyst (Garrison) to support PACAF GeoBase at JBPHH, HI. You will maintain geospatial systems, validate data, and provide training while coordinating with IT and cybersecurity teams.

Requires active Secret clearance, US citizenship/PR, and 5+ years in DoD GIS or enterprise IT. Competitive salary with full benefits in a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Geography, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting DoD GIS/GeoBase or enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience managing geospatial databases and enterprise GIS data.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and related GeoBase applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and recommend solutions.
• Manage and validate enterprise geospatial data.
• Perform QA/QC and metadata management.
• Support software installations, upgrades, testing, and config mgmt.
• Troubleshoot applications, databases, and system issues.
• Coordinate with system, database, and cybersecurity teams.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs.
• Provide technical support and user training.
• Support contingency, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations activities.
• Prepare technical reports and leadership briefings.
