Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks an Equipment Specialist to support critical DoD mission requirements, providing technical and logistical support for equipment throughout its lifecycle. You will help ensure assets are properly managed, maintained, documented, and available to support mission objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and experience in a DoD or government environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• BA/BS degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of DoD equipment/materials management experience.
• Proficient in DoD configuration management processes and documentation.
• Experience with Technical Orders, TCTOs, AFTO 22/252s, DRs, ECPs, and CCB processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with R&M analysis, provisioning, CPIN, and digital TO systems.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance management policy implementation, TO management, and configuration control for NC3 systems.
• Review and recommend changes to system and product specifications for format, content, and compliance.
• Maintain, distribute, and manage drawing packages and revisions.
• Provide technical analysis of field, depot, and modification program issues.
• Participate in technical order reviews, audits (FCA, PCA), and compliance assessments.
• Prepare TCTOs and support CCBs and TRBs.
• Track and manage deficiency reports (DRs), AFTO 22/252s, ECPs, ACSNs, RFD/RFWs, and other docs.
• Analyze maintenance data and forecast spares through R&M programs and DMSMS tracking.
• Vendor research for obsolete parts; assemble data for sourcing and capability assessments.
• Provide technical input for provisioning, CPIN management, SERDs, and sustainment planning.
• Support troubleshooting of complex system/equipment problems with field/contractor/organic teams.
• Assist in transition to digital TO systems and IMDS/REMIS setup.
• Develop and revise technical orders; interpret engineering data; support sustainment and disposal planning for NC3 systems.
