ASI Government is seeking an Engagement Lead (Director) for its Department of War portfolio. This senior leadership role demands independent navigation of complex client situations, acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, and translating strategy into disciplined execution and executive-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in management/strategy consulting or equivalent client services environment.
• 5+ years leading consulting engagements or major workstreams with senior-client relationships.
• DoW Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI (SAP Access).
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with ability to structure analyses and deliver executive-ready stories.
• Experience navigating complex client environments and translating needs into actionable solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites three to four days per week.

Responsabilités

• Co-lead the engagement with a government mission leader, combining consulting discipline with client relationships and institutional knowledge.
• Serve as a senior day-to-day interface with client leadership; anticipate needs, read stakeholder dynamics, and build credibility.
• Frame ambiguous problems, develop clear points of view, and provide strategic ideas and practical recommendations.
• Design and lead executive meetings, working sessions, and decision forums with concise messaging and facilitation.
• Own the engagement from problem definition through implementation, including scope, hypotheses, workplan, milestones, and outcomes.
• Coach contributors through precise direction, rapid feedback, and quality review while maintaining accountability for the integrated product.
